Why do you throw everyone away? How many people have you thrown away? 5 most recent and the reasons why?
I throw people away because they lie, and they screw me over and they annoy me. I throw people away when they’re toxic, when they lie, or when they do things that annoy me. I throw people away when they ring me high, or drunk. I throw people away when they promise “i’ll never leave” and within 2 seconds flat, they’ve gone because someone else is skinnier, or prettier. I get played and lied to far too often for me to handle. That’s why.
He’ll grab your waist and whisper in your ear but six months later you’ll find yourself drunk texting him that you miss him and he won’t respond.
She is literally the most attractive woman on this planet
You seem to focus a lot on the faults of men, have you ever tried to look at the faults of women from a male view? Women are contradictory by nature. Eg, you correctly make the statement that women should not be treated like sexual objects, yet you post images of women being treated like sexual objects. Yes they can choose when to be treated as such, but many don't make such choices very clear, preferring to let men guess when such treatment is wanted, offended if he guesses wrong either way.
"99%" is a false-as-fuck statistic. Even a highly conservative look at rape perpetrators (since pretty much no one counts "made to penetrate" as "real rape" which is some of the biggest bullshit I’ve ever heard of because rape is rape and being made to penetrate is a very real thing) puts it at ~90%.
Because females can rape females and females can rape males and it makes me so FUCKING MAD when people forget this.
Is it true that the majority of rapists are male, yes. So you don’t have to skew your fucking numbers to get that point across. Don’t “exaggerate for effect” on this topic.
I have been raped by men and women.Rape is about control, not gender. Gender certainly influences it, I believe. But it’s no 99%. That’s some fucking bullshit.
I didn’t skew my numbers, I actually did research that.
If a woman enjoys rough sex, I can guarantee you that she’s spoken with her partner about it. I support safe, sane, and CONSENSUAL sex and sexual relations.
I’ll stop focusing on the faults of men when society stops blaming women for what they’re wearing or doing and not the men who rape them. I’ll stop focusing on the faults of men when the phrase “boys will be boys” dies along side the idea that it’s okay for a man to touch a woman after she says no.
I know men are also raped/sexually harassed and that is definitely an issue. The video, however, was focused on a woman. And the cold truth is 99% of people who rape are male.
Greenfeld, L. A. Sex Offenses and Offenders: An Analysis of Data on Rape and Sexual Assault, Washington, D. C.: U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Statistics, 1997.
You can be upset and say that I’m “exaggerating for effect” but I don’t spew off numbers or bullshit unless I look into what I’m talking about. 91% of rape accusations are against males with 9% being against women. I don’t disprove that.
I’ve never stated that men don’t get raped. In fact, before I’ve been the one to stand up and talk about men being raped. I know it may be more difficult for a man to step forward before a woman does because men feel like they shouldn’t be a victim. This all stemmed from a sexual assault video in which a woman was being assaulted. Hence the reason I’ve focused on the female aspect of it. I’m not sure why you’re getting so upset with me. I’m not here to say all men are rapists and woman are saints.
Rape is wrong no matter the gender.
Your 99/100 are male statistic is based on a study from the 90’s and only looks at CONVICTED RAPISTS.
That, I think we can all agree, is a skewed view. That means you have to take into account social prejudices and biases, the (un)willingness of men to come forward as rape victims, the fact that the incarcerated rapists represent only 97-99% of all rapists, even based on the exclusion of “made to penetrate” as a form of rape, (on mobile right now, so I can’t properly cite this, but if you check out RAINN’s victim statistic page you’ll find it) just…. no.
Your statistics are invalid in the grand scheme of the view of rape. It is actually incredibly misleading to cite this as a comprehensive view of rapists.
